The Travel Bug has taken a bite

One of the greatest things about living in London, is that traveling is easy. When living in South Africa- my sacred homeland- you may have to take tons of leave, pay a fortune and plan your holiday in depth. Living in London, however, allows you to simply hop on the Euro-Star and in a couple of hours, end up in Italy, sipping vino- Bliss! So far my adventures have included:
Greece, Turkey, Portugal, Edinburgh and Bath.

I cannot pinpoint my favourite country/destination visited. From indulging in Greek feta, to bargaining in Turkish Markets, to shell collecting in Tavira, to exploring the history of the
Scottish castles... The memories are delicioussss.

Christmas Issues, making me jolly

The time of year I love most.
December, Christmas time, the festive season.

On any silent night that comes my way this December, I will devour my Vogues and Elles.
This Decemeber's Vogue is cheery, focusing on the theme of Pop Art- the culture, the artists and the history behind the movement. The Christmas issue comes seperately, which is delighful and gold.

I love reading about what interesting individuals are doing/buying this Christmas. It gives me great ideas and gets me childishly excited. It also reminds me of my concerns as to how i am going to find a real Christmas Tree that I can get to and into our flat?! Real is the Deal.

Bubbly and tacky-sparkle decorations. I am on it.

My flavours of Late.

From jewels to Travel. Below I have attempted to condense some of my desirables that have taken up time in my wondering mind this week.

Disco and Rave

One of our hobbies in London and in our spare time: Going to nightclubs and twisting.
Global Gathering was definitely one of the biggest Rave highlights yet. Besides screaming chicks dressed in Lumo bras and furry boots, everything else was dandy- especially the hammock garden with tall trees. Above and Beyond and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinasours were insane! Boyfriends: Jake wore rave shades, Daniel stomped around barefoot with a fluffy hat and Gray- well thanks to Gray, we were in VIP. Ha.

Leap

The move from South Africa to London was interesting and not quite what I expected it to be. From sunny beaches, familiarity and family/friend-group protection, to the honest and quite cold London... It has been a wake-up call of note but at the same time, a ridiculous Fun Fair filled with spinning.

I have started Stitches of Colour to record what I experience and to share what I find inspirational.
